Denise Pozen is the founder, president and principal consultant of Pozen Services Inc. which provides product safety consulting. She has over twenty-five years’ experience in the legal and business applications of product safety processes and consumer product safety. In her career at McDonald’s Corporation, she worked first in the Marketing Department, then as a corporate attorney, and finally as a director of safety for promotional products worldwide. As Safety Director, she managed the safety processes for all the Happy Meal toys that were distributed through McDonald’s restaurants around the world each year, and for McDonald’s retail licensing program.
In addition to her consulting work, Denise has two additional businesses:
Denise Pozen Photography provides photographic services and related products. As a self-taught photographer, Denise likes to capture the beauty of the natural world, as well as the interesting designs and images that can occur “by accident.” She’s the parish photographer for St. John of the Cross parish in Western Springs, where she takes pictures of the people and parish events. As a long-time animal enthusiast, she also like to capture candid moments of both wildlife and pets, and does pet portraits for people in the Chicago area.
